Guests can visit the on-site restaurant Prepperiet for meals made from local ingredients. There are also three restaurants in traditional Norwegian style including Tyrihans Skicafè, Pizzahuset, and Fjøset après-ski, in addition to Koia that provides simple but good food such as gourmet sausages and the perfect atmosphere for afterski.
Skiing and Activities
Kvitfjell is known for its snow-secure ski resort suitable for all skill levels. The Vestsiden Express chairlift and a gondola provide access to the top of Kvitfjell and Varden, respectively. There are 25 kilometers of piste, 9 ski lifts, 600 km of cross-country trails and a Snowboard Park. The KIDS Skitorget family area includes a platter lift, children's ski lift, KIDS park and KIDS World Cup. Also near Grønnparken a simple park where kids can practice their tricks.
Location and Accessibility
Kvitfjell Hotel is located in Fåvang, Ringebu, approximately 60 km north of Lillehammer and a 3-hour drive from Oslo. Fagernes Leirin Airport is 100 km away. The hotel is situated at the middle station, allowing ski-in/ski-out access. Kvitfjell offers short access to Gudbrandsdalen and national parks such as Rondane and Jotunheimen, Hunderfossen Family Park and the rafting river Sjoa. The hotel is near ski hire, restaurants, a lift-pass shop, a sports store, and a ski-school meeting point.
